The CASA Story

Texas CASA is accepting nominations for the 2008 Texas CASA Advocates for Children Awards. The awards will be presented at an Awards Dinner on Friday, October 10, 2008, in conjunction with our 19 th Annual Statewide Conference ,
“The CASA Story”. The conference will be held at the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark, Austin, Texas, October 9-11, 2008.

Award categories are:

• Jane Quentan Piper Volunteer Advocate of the Year (Form)

• Excellence in Leadership Executive/Program Director of the Year (Form)

• Lone Star Proud for Kids Judge of the Year (Form)
  

• Outstanding CPS Caseworker of the Year or DFPS Manager/ Administrator of the Year (Form)

• Lone Star Proud for Kids Special Recognition Award (Form)

Each category has its own set of award criteria that are explained with each nomination form.

We invite you to acknowledge the achievements of your CASA/GAL Executive or Program Director, the commitment of your Judge, and the dedication, tenacity and passion of your Advocates, community leaders, and CASA and DFPS staff.
