Lone Star Champions for Kids Celebration

Each year at the Lone Star Champions for Kids Celebration, Texas CASA presents the Lone Star Champion for Kids Award to an especially worthy recipient. This award is given to a leader from either the public or private sector who champions the right of Texas children to grow up free of violence and abuse.

Speak Up for Kids 5K Series

Put on your jogging / walking shoes and Speak Up for Kids during the Texas CASA 5K Series. The 5K events are hosted by local CASA programs and with the support of RunTex. Proceeds benefit the local CASA program in their efforts to recruit and train CASA volunteers.

Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness Month

April has been dedicated National Child Abuse Prevention month. During this month, Texas CASA joins others across the nation in renewing the commitment to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Wearing a blue ribbon has become the symbol for the need to create a safe environment for children to grow. Texas CASA participates proudly in the blue ribbon campaign along with the local programs throughout the state.
